The Wells HRA regularly schedule monthly meeting is held on the third Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the Wells City Hall. Any changes in meeting date or special meetings will be posted in the lobby of city hall. Along with other projects, the Wells HRA in conjunction with Life Style, INC manages two housing units known as
Broadway Apartments, located 219 South Broadway, and Park Place Townhomes, located at 305 First Street NW.

Residential Property Demolition Grant Program
The Wells Housing and Redevelopment Authority recently approved a Blighted Residential Property Demolition Grant Program. This program is designed to help property owners remove blighted single family homes to help clear the way for redevelopment. Click here to download a PDF version of the Application. Applications can also be picked up at the Wells City Hall. The program replaces the Blighted Housing Program which was previously offered by the HRA.
The amount of the Demolition Grant is 50% of the project costs with a maximum of $5,000. Primary consideration will be given to vacant single family dwellings. Secondary consideration will be given to residential property being razed to clear a lot for the construction of a Single Family Dwelling. Grants will also be considered for demolition of an accessory building on parcels where the accessory building serves an owner occupied single family dwelling. All work must be completed by a licensed contractor.
