The Wells Compost Site is located north of State Hwy 109, between Rose Hill Cemetery and 6th Ave NW.

It is open every day from dawn until dusk.

Compost Rules:

• PERMITTED MATERIALS: Natural biodegradable materials including grass, leaves, garden debris, small branches and Christmas trees.
• NOT PERMITTED: All other materials.
  
• DUMPING OF GARBAGE IS PROHIBITED!
• NO LARGE BRANCHES, TREES OR STUMPS. Contact the City of Wells about these items.

If these rules are broken, this service to the community may no longer be offered.
